Want to know how to make a smoker? It’s not as hard as some might think. There are many easy to follow instructions, and the player doesn’t have to know anything about modding or crafting in order to make this mod. But how does the player get started, and what do they need to know in order to survive?
The player’s first objective should be learning how to get started: In the world of Minecraft, you don’t start with any vanilla items. Instead, you receive a pack of six vanilla bricks, a book on how to build a smoke generator, a slab of quartz, and three jars of honey, among other add-ons. This is necessary since the game doesn’t recognize one kind of smoke generator from another. Different smoky recipes need to be researched first.
The smoke pack, also known as the ‘smoker,’ is what makes this mod unique: To use it, the player must have either a bucket or fishing rod in their inventory. Once loaded, it will generate a column of smoke every time it is clicked. In addition to this, it will not burn up like other fires do. Only lava will be spewed out.
To start using the smoking pack: simply right click the pack in your inventory. A menu will appear. Select the ‘new’ option from the drop down menu. Now choose a location where there are no mobs or other hazards, and begin the session.
To get the best results: it’s recommended that the player put the pack in an area that receives a lot of light. Grass and trees in these areas are naturally dark when they are mined. Also, a side note to keep in mind is that lighting the pack will cause the smoker to spit out smoke. If this happens, it is highly recommended that the player not continue to light the pack. This can lead to a major waste of materials and an inefficient way to utilize ash.
While learning how to make a smoker mineral pack: can take some time and patience, it does have many advantages. Like other types of packs, it is modifiable. To change the amount of ash used, the player must modify the pack’s attributes at least once. As with other packs, this is done by clicking the ‘add new’ tab on the pack’s world-list.
However, unlike other packs, the amount of ash can be changed without needing to redo the initial setup.
