To make power rails with the least amount of materials is really easy – For the first one, you will need to collect all the necessary items. You will need wood, cement, rock, and leather to name a few of the most important raw materials for power rails. You will also need some metal strips and some nails. Now that you have gathered all the materials, you will have to get into the construction mode and after saving all the materials, you can start by building the basic frame of the powered rails.
After the frame is ready – you can start by setting up the hoppers in front of the hoppers. Now that the hopper is ready, you can fill it with gravel and sand. Then, place a lever on the front of your craft and connect it to the bottom of your crafting table. Then place the ingots in between the slots on your crafted power rail. Place the redstone between the redstone bricks and connect the redstone to the lever again.
The next step is to place the red stone dust – in between the slot of the hopper and the front of your mine cart. Connect another lever to the front of your car and place a gold ingot in between the front and back of your mine cart. Build a ramp from your crafted power rail to the front of your mine cart and place the gold ingot on the ramp in front of your cart.
Place the red stone dust on the four lowest levels of the hopper – Hook up the hopper to a minecart with a lever and place a gold ingot on each level. Hook up another lever to the back of your mine cart and place a red stone dust on the upper levels of your mine cart. These are your first eight blocks of powered rails!
The next step is to stick the blocks together with an iron ingot – For this, you will need at least sixteen iron ingots. If you only have fourteen, you will need to go back to the beginning. Then, place the metal strips in between the holes and stick them onto the iron ingots. Then, place all the iron ingots evenly onto the four longest sides of the rails.
